BLS Protocols....
Nothing too fancy/exciting at all. We spent time going over the operating procedures that direct us how to operate as EMT-Bs. These cover various aspects such as Diabetics, Abdominal Pains, Burns, Pregnancy, etc. We also spent time learning how to measure glucose levels (and we got to stick other recruits to draw blood), use an eye lens to irrigate and flush an eye, and also put in a combi-tube (an artificial airway) into the lungs.
