0700 PT.....after a long week of getting killed, I think the instructors wanted to give us some R&R. We went to the park and played volleyball for an hour. It was a nice change of pace...and it was fun!!
After we got back, we had lecture on portable fire extinguishers and then got some "hands-on time" filling and spraying fire extinguishers. Then we went out onto the pad and put out a small propane fire. The remainder of the day was spent throwing ladders.
Once we got back, we were dismissed and had to put our gear away in the lockup for the weekend. One recruit forgot to put her stuff away and left. The instructor took her gear and put it in the office and will "deal with her" on Monday.......so Monday is not going to be too good of a day!!
For now....WEEK 13 is complete. We are officially past the half-way point in the Academy.
